Lord Hanumaan - Pooja Vidhi

Lord Shree Hanumaan Ji's Pooja can be done in a few different ways. If one is wanting to get free from any form of evil sufferings one should seriously consider doing the following that will not only free him/her from any trouble, sickness or evil spirits but will enlighten their soul and provide them with enormous self confidence and courage.  Furthermore the devotee will be liberated from all the worldly attachments and will find the ultimate peace of mind and complete satisfaction.

This pooja vidhi is as follow:

1. Free up  a period of approximately three days commencing from a Sunday so that the final day falls on Tuesday.

2. Ensure you are clean and that the surrounding is pure.

3. Arrange to have all the necessary pooja ingredients eg Agar Batti, Deep, flowers, Hawan Saamagri, fruits, Rot etc

4. Wake up early in the morning an hour before sunrise to commence prayers, worshiping etc. Offer a bowl (lotta) of Jal (water) with red flower to Hanumaan Ji each day during the prayer (pooja) period. Offering of Jal should become a habit for future Tuesdays. Offer all the other pooja ingredients like fruit, Rot, deep, agar batti, flowers etc daily during the pooja period.

5. Commence reading Hanuman Chalisa on the first day ie Sunday and read this as much as possible. ( you will be required to read the Chalisa for at least 100 times over three days). As the third day will be full of many other rituals noted below, try and read at least 40 times on day one and the same on day two.

6. On the third day compete the reading of Hanuman Chalisa to equate to 100 times altogether followed by reading / chanting 1000 names (sahastranamawali) of Lord Haumaan (see below) etc. While reading the sahastranaam, sprikle jal (water with a mango leaf) onto the Murti of Hanuman for at least 108 times.  After this, complete the reading/singing of Sankat Morchan Hanuman Ashtak.

7. Prepare Hawan Kund and offer the saamgari with 108 names of Hanumaan and other mantras (short form) that can be obtained below.

8. Perform Arti and request the lord for forgiveness for any shortcomings.

Remember that your mind is totally focussed on the worshiping with total bhaki and bhaawas. Chanting of "Om Hanumataye Namah" should be done at all the other times when you are no busy.
